Terms and Conditions

 SelfyBooth is a trading name of Juliet Bravo Photography
‘The Customer’ is the person, company or agency that makes the booking.

Your Booking & Cancellations

1.1           All booking, howsoever made, are subject to our terms and conditions, receipt of payment (including deposits) and our acceptance of your offer to hire.

1.2           We will confirm your booking in writing or by email upon receipt of your deposit. 

1.3           A minimum deposit (£100) is required with all bookings – payable via Bank Transfer, PayPal or Payment card (Credit or Debit).

1.4           Any balance payments will be due in full no later than 7 days prior to the event.  Any last minute chargeable variations to the booking, including variations agreed to on the day of the event must be paid in full immediately.

1.5           As part of your booking we will confirm in writing the agreed hours of operation.

1.5.1        In the unlikely event that we are not ready to commence at the agreed time due to our fault, then we will operate the agreed hire period by extending the finishing time of the hire (venue permitting).

1.5.2        In the event that the hire does not start at the agreed time, as setup has been delayed due to any unforeseen circumstances that are no fault of SelfyBooth, then the hire will still end as per the agreed time.

1.5.3        In the event that we have set up in time but the hire does not start at the agreed time due to over running of previous activities by you or venue, the hire will still end as per the agreed time.

1.6           In the event that circumstances prevent us from attending your event (for example these may include but are not limited to, severe weather conditions, traffic delays, breakdown of our vehicles, sickness or equipment failure) and are unable to fulfil your booking due to any event beyond our reasonable control, we will contact you or the venue as soon as possible. In such circumstances, our liability will be limited to refunding all of the monies paid.

1.7           In accordance with the Customer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days in which you can cancel your booking without penalty. Any order cancelled after 14 days will be subject to a cancellation charge (at our discretion). That charge will not exceed 20% if cancelled more than 6 weeks before the event. Within 6 weeks of the event up to 50% of booking fee may be charged. Within 3 weeks of the event up to 100% of booking fee may be charged.


2.1           Should you wish to provide your own backgrounds or logo overlays, these must be provided at least 21 days ahead of the event. 

2.2           Text overlays can be applied to all prints if required.

2.3           Any images provided to us must be free from copyright and any restriction on distribution or printing.

2.4           In the event of a personalised template being chosen, a proof will be provided for you to approve ahead of the event.  It will be your responsibility to ensure that this proof has been checked for accuracy (including spellings, dates and people's names where applicable). 


3.1           In the unlikely event of a partial failure of equipment, resulting in us providing a reduced service, we will continue to operate where possible.  In such circumstances, we may need to change without prior notice how our booth or kiosk operates. We will make every effort to continue to provide a service which is enjoyable.  If you are not satisfied with the service being offered please inform our representative immediately. 

3.2           We reserve the right to substitute any product hired with equipment of a similar type and value without notice, should our equipment become faulty, damaged or otherwise unusable.

3.3           All equipment, props and signage provided remain our property at all times. 

3.4           The company reserve the right to amend or alter any product specifications without prior notice.

Venue and Facilities

4.1           All equipment will be set up in one location only, as agreed upon arrival.  We are unable to move the equipment once it is set up. The responsibility of finding a suitable location lies wholly with the customer.

4.2           It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any relevant permission has been obtained at the venue to use a photo booth.

4.3           It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that power sockets are available for use at the location where the booth is to be situated and where appropriate, permission has been granted for connection to, and use of those power sockets as required.  2 x power sockets are required.

4.4           It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that we are informed of any challenges we may face when setting up the booth (including going upstairs, long distances from unloading area to venue etc).  Prices quoted are based on a set period of time for setting up our equipment at your venue, and therefore any surprise complications that are not made known to us beforehand, will come out of the run time.

Conduct of Guests / users of hired equipment

5.1           The customer is responsible for ensuring that suitable security and/or crowd control measures are in place prior to, and throughout the duration of the event.

5.2           We reserve the right to cease operation and / or remove hired equipment from site if at any time any of our staff deem that the conduct of a person or crowd endangers the safety of other guests using the booth or the safety of the hired equipment.  

5.3           Should it be necessary to stop operating for whatever reason, no refund will be given and full hire fees will be due.

5.4           We reserve the right to refuse admission into the photo booth to anyone our staff feels are unsafe to operate the booth in the interests of either their safety or the safety of the equipment. Any violent, aggressive or abusive behaviour, by anyone, towards our staff or equipment will not be tolerated.

Liability & Insurance

6.1           The customer agrees to pay for any damage to, or theft of, the company's equipment, props or assets whilst on hire.

6.2           We accept no liability for any damage or loss of personal property and or any injury arising from the use of the hired equipment.

6.3           Juliet Bravo Photography has public liability insurance.

Use of Photographs

7.1           We reserve the right to use any of the photographs from your event for suitable means including (but not limited to) advertising and promotional material either in print or on the internet.

7.2           Photographs will be made available on our website following the event where you and your guests can purchase (including downloads and prints), or share images. Unless we have been notified otherwise images may also be shared on social media platforms.

7.3           Should you require those images (through our website) to be password protected, please advise us of your preferred password.

7.4           Juliet Bravo Photography and SelfyBooth are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (in accordance with the Data Protection Act).
